Volunteer work

What is volunteer work?

In order for the club to be able to offer activities such as cups, free days and various events, we need help from our members. Examples of this type of work can be standing in the kiosk at Fjellhamar stadium (making waffles, making coffee, selling goods), being a parking attendant on match days, helping with organization at cups and events or, for example, cleaning and other incidental work.
Here you will find instructions for working in the café (Also contains information about Waffle Mix)

Activity fee

No one is required to volunteer for Fjellhamar FK, but it pays off for you as a member. Basically, as a member you pay a sum in dues, but in addition there is an additional 10 hours of activity obligation (total 3400 kroner - 340 per hour).

This is part of the mandatory fees that you have to pay, but which you can avoid by volunteering. At the end of the year, the number of hours you have worked is deducted and you receive an invoice for the remaining payment. If you manage to work a total of 10 hours in a year, then this invoice will be NOK 0. For families with several members, the activity obligation is set at a maximum of 15 hours of work.

The activity fee section has been created to keep the total cost of being a member as low as possible. However, you can opt out of this section by notifying kasserer@fjellhamarfotball.no no later than February 15th.

Exemption
There is an exemption from this volunteer portion of the fee for members with positions on the board, committees, and initially for head coach, trainer, team manager and parent contact on the individual teams (number per player group is determined by the board).

An overview of fees and charges can be found here.
